How to Attend Appointments with Your Provider

You’ve Signed Up to do Virtual Appointments with your Provider

Now What?

 

Your provider uses a video telemedicine program called Fruit Street to conduct their virtual appointments. Below are instructions on how to attend your appointments:  

 

Attending your Appointments on a Computer

  1. Download the Zoom at https://zoom.us/download
    • Zoom is the video component to the Fruit Street platform and allows you to video conference with your provider. 
  2. Go to fruitstreet.com 
  3. Click “Log In” at the top of the page
    • DO NOT click “Sign Up” as you would be signing up for a program with a monthly fee
  4. The Log In link will take you to the log in portal.
  5. Type in your username and password. 
    • You should now be entered into your Fruit Street account under your Provider’s practice. 
  6. After logging into, find the correct appointment under “Upcoming Appointments” on the right hand side of your screen. It should be the top appointment. 
  7. Click Start Your Visit.
  8. Click Proceed to Consultation.
    • Please note that you must click “Proceed to Consultation” before the video visit can begin.
  9. After clicking “Proceed to Consultation,” please wait in the waiting room for your provider to call in. Once your provider calls in you will automatically be added to the video call. 

 

Attending your Appointments on an iPhone/iPad

  1. Download the Fruit Street app and Zoom app from the Apple Store.
  2. At your scheduled appointment time, open and log in into your Fruit Street app using the same username and password you set up with your invite from your provider’s practice.
  3. Click Sessions / video camera icon at the bottom.
  4. Under the session's information, click “Join”.
    • Under the appointment's date, you will also see your provider's name, the phone number to dial in via phone, the meeting ID, and the password to join via phone.
  5. If you have any problems with your Zoom call, please see Zoom's Help Center.
  6. If these steps do not allow you into your class, please submit a request.

 

Attending your Appointments on an Android Device

  1. Download the Fruit Street app and Zoom app from the Google Play store 
  2. At your scheduled appointment time, open and log in into your Fruit Street app using the same username and password you set up with your invite from your provider’s practice.
  3. Click the Sessions / video camera icon icon at the top.
  4. Click “Join” under your scheduled session.
  5. When your provider joins the session, you will see your provider's video and your video.
  6. If you have any problems with your Zoom call, please see Zoom's Help Center.
  7. If these steps do not allow you into your class, please submit a request.
